Company History

Natural generation was started by Mike Field in December 2006. Mike’s vision was a simple one: to help people throughout the region to move towards renewable energy sources – choosing solutions that were as beneficial for their households as they were for the planet as a whole.

Making the most of free and abundant power sources

For centuries, mankind has harnessed the natural power of the wind and sun to provide the basic necessities of life. We now have the technology to do so in more sophisticated ways to reduce our dependence on increasingly scarce and damaging fossil fuel resources. Natural Generation exists to bring these benefits to a wider audience.

Microgeneration Certification Scheme approval

Natural Generation Ltd is an approved Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) installer, certification number MCS1029.

MCS is a rigorous accreditation scheme which ensures that both renewable energy products and installers conform to a set of industry standards. Only by using an MCS-accredited renewable energy installer can you benefit from financial incentives provided by the government, such as the Feed in Tariff scheme (FiTs) or Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).
