Rose-in-Vale Hotel – Mithian – St. Agnes – Cornwall
Medium sized solar thermal heating system contributing to heating the outdoor swimming pool (~10% solar gain) and barn hot water supply (~60% solar gain).
During the winter the heat is diverted to a 4.5kW radiator in the laundry room. 8 Vaillant AuroTHERM plus VFK 990 in-roof panels were installed in two sets of four on adjacent barn roofs. These panels are highly efficient flat plate panels with an efficiency of 85.4%. This project is one of several we have now installed on listed properties.
