Even though Natural Generation is involved in supplying systems devoted to reducing consumption of fossil fuels and carbon dioxide output, we are aware that our own activities have their own impacts.

We have recently undertaken an energy audit of our business to identify areas where we can reduce our negative effects and are working towards implementing the BS 8555 environmental management system.

We are actively striving to reduce our impact in the following ways:

  • Green electricity for office and workshop.
  • Use of recycled office products.
  • Managing office equipment and heating to reduce use and cut out stand by time.
  • Installing a solar hot water system for hand washing.
  • Investigating alternative fuel options for work vehicles.
  • Using remote monitoring where possible to reduce unnecessary journeys.
  • Recycling and composting facilities for office staff.
